The Hungarian Recommendation for a Women and Science Action Plan 

The structure of the Hungarian Recommendation for a Women and Science Action Plan is based on the GENDERA Guidelines. It is simple to read and understand but, at the same time, it is an attention catching professional material. The text is divided into 3 main parts. In the first part we suggest structural changes, for example equality plans and committees, to influence women’s share in scientific life and research management. In the second part we suggest cultural changes in the leader positions, measures to increase the interest of high-school girls to the scientific career…etc. In the third part we offer a few tools which can help to create a more women friendly research and scientific sphere. The most important part of the document is the annex, where we collected concrete examples applicable in Hungary for every suggested change.
